Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) is fast approaching. Members and friends will be operating the club radio station VK2LE as an activity of the Endeavour Boree Regatta, at Kurnell NSW, over the weekend 18th to 20th October 2024.
The theme of this year's Boree Regatta is "Out of Space" which is an ideal opportunty to show off amateur radio satellites. If you have an interest in amateur radio satellites and are able to operate with your portable equipment, then please consider joining our team of amateur radio operators, to give guides and scouts an opportunity to make contacts on air or use radio direction finding equipment to find a hidden transmitter.
Not interested in satellites, then please consider assisting over the JOTA weekend, even only for a few hours or a day or two. With over 500 guides and scouts expected to participate, the more operators we have, means a better experience for everyone. Prior experience at JOTA is not essential, as guidence and equipment is provided.
