Are you interested in qualifying to become an amateur radio operator, or upgrade your existing qualification? 

Members of the The St George Amateur Radio Society (SGARS) Education Team will be providing entry level training and assessments for those new to amateur radio, to qualify as an amateur radio, and assessments for existing operators who desire to upgrade their existing qualification or candidates seeking standard or advanced level qualification.

Foundation entry level training is provided on the Saturday, which covers basic radio theory, regulations and practical setup and safe operation of an amateur radio station, followed by the qualification assessments on the Sunday.

Standard and advanced level qualification assessments are available on either Saturday or Sunday, by prior arrangement with the SGARS education team. All assessments are conducted by ACMA accredited assessors.
