With October fast approaching it is time to verify your NSW Working With Check (WWCC).

  • If you have a current WWCC, check the expiry date is after the JOTA weekend 16th to 18th October 2026, or,
  • You don't have a WWCC or your WWCC has expired, we recommend you apply NOW, as the process can take up to 4 weeks.WWCC for volunteers are FREE.

Volunteers attending JOTA and interacting with youth members will need a NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Scouts NSW Adult Helper registration.

If you can help, please put your hand up now! Last year’s team had 15 SGARS operators, and we need a similar level of support in 2026.
