2025 Events

Maybe you have never tried "fox hunting" or it has been several years since last tried, so here is your chance to get into practice. 

Come along to Oatley Park, Sunday 23rd March 2025 at 1.30pm. Meet up with your fellow hams at the car park immediately inside the main entrance gate at the end of Oatley Park Avenue. If nobody else is there, you can commence to search for the hidden fox hunt transmitter, sending out a series of tones on 144.150 MHz in the FM mode.

Bring along your 2m fox hunting setup, or just a 2m FM hand held transceiver and a 2m directional antenna. Don't have any fox hunting equipment, but like learn more, come along anyway and team up with someone else. 

When you find the fox, please DO NOT tell others the location and spoil the fun for them.

Liaison will be on 146.800 MHz 2m FM Engadine repeater. The event is to be a fun practice event. Hopefully both hunters and foxes can each learn something.
