Interference on VHF FM Repeaters VK2RLE and VK2RDX
The St George Amateur Radio Society has received reports of interference to licenced operators when using repeaters licenced to SGARS.
This interference has been in the form of unidentified, inappropriate and non-complying transmissions possibly from unlicensed station(s).
Radiocommunication interference should be reported to the Australian Communications and Media Authority by the licenced station who experiences the interference.
The report should be made using ACMA Form R066 in either pdf or word format, which can be downloaded from the ACMA web site. A sample form is also available.
To assist the ACMA, you should also include a log of the interference with dates and times, audio file and signal bearings (on the repeater input frequency).
Please DO NOT respond to the interference or give details of your report or name or identify the person(s) who you may suspect as being the source of the interference, either on air or in public forum.
The more information you can provide to the ACMA, the more chance of identifying and stopping the interference.
