2024 Events

A compelling story of how Secret Agents working behind enemy lines in France and Norway, changed the course of World War 2 with clandestine radio transmitters and receivers.

Wal VK2ACE will give a presentation detailing the specialised radio technology used, and the bravery of the wireless telegraphy operators themselves, many of whom gave their own lives to defeat the Nazi war machine and ultimately win the war.

Wal will also include information about the courageous efforts of a small band of sea farers known locally know as the "Shetland Bus".
