WIn Link is a worldwide messaging system that uses amateur radio frequencies, to provide email capability automatically and independent of the internet, using smart-network radio relays to send messages from one point to another. VARA HF is a high performance sound card modem, used on HF bands for exchanging Win Link traffic. Paul VK2GX will provide an introduction to both Win Link and VARA HF, explaining how the system works and how to get started. As VARA HF uses a range of bands including 80m, 40m, 20m and 10m, it is usable by amateur radio operators of all qualification levels.
