Over a weekend, The St George Amateur Radio Society (SGARS) holds training and assessments, so you can qualify to become an amateur radio operator, or upgrade your existing qualification.

On Saturday, training is provided for foundation level theory and regulations. Also included is hands on training for the practical component, required for all three levels, Foundation, Standard and Advanced.

On Sunday, ACMA accredited assessors undertake theory, regulations and practical assessments for all three levels, Foundation, Standard and Advanced.

The next training and assessment weekend is scheduled for April 27th and 28th at our training venue at Sutherland 2232, commencing 8.00 am sharp.
