Due to the current COVID-19 situation The St George Amateur Radio Society will be holding the monthly gatherings on line; the next is on Wednesday evening 7th July 2021.

Over the last few years the Digital Mobile Radio network in Australia has evolved and expanded. In 2018 there were 33 VK DMR repeaters, which has now grown by 60% to 53. Currently there are over 1800 registered DMR VK users. VK DMR Talk groups have been re-configured to provide improved communication options.

For The St George Amateur Radio Society July gathering, Paul VK2GX will be presenting on the VK Digital Mobile Radio network, looking the DMR network basics, providing an update the VK DMR network including repeaters, hotspots and talk groups, review available DMR equipment and give helpful programming hints.

July's presentation will begin at 7.30pm, Wednesday evening 7th July 2021, on your computer or smart device screen. To join the on line gathering, use a web browser (preferably Google Chrome) and copy the following link;
