The St George Amateur Radio Society has new venue for our regular monthly gatherings in 2024. On Wednesday 7th February 2024, SGARS members and friends are invited to gather at the Mortdale RSL Club for the first presentation of the new year.
The Mortdale RSL Club is located at 25 Macquarie Place, Mortdale NSW 2223, a 5 minute walk from Mortdale railway station. On street parking is available in addition to the car park next to the club. The club has made the upstairs meeting room available from 7.30 pm.
The Mort’s Bar & Grill is available for refreshments before hand, and tea and coffee afterwards. Membership to Mortdale RSL Club is $10 for one year or $12 for 3 years. Members receive discounts on beverages and meals, and $15 worth of points on member's birthday.
In February, the presentation will be on VHF Power Amplifiers by Peter Foskett VK2KFP.
