FOUNDATION LICENCE COURSE / ASSESSMENT - 26th & 27th June 2010

The Foundation Licence is your entry into the world of Amateur Radio. SGARS will be holding a Foundation and Licence Course and Assessment over the weekend of 26th and 27th June 2010. Click here to download the information sheet.

Registration for the Foundation training course and assessment is currently open, however numbers are limited, so contact our Education Officer immediately to reserve your position. Assessment for the Standard and Advanced level licence also available.

Cost of the assessment for the Foundation Licence is $67.00 per person or $35.00 if your under the age of 18 years old. There will be an additional charge of $20.00 by SGARS to undertake the training, including hire of premises etc.

Copies of the latest Foundation Licence Manuals are now available from our Education Officer, Brian Clarke VK2GCE. Price is $24.50 each including GST. These manuals are ideal reference material for those seeking to obtain the Foundation Radio Licence. Copies are available by attending SGARS regular meetings, the first Wednesday evening of each month. Our meeting rooms are located in Donnelly Park, Kyle Parade, Kyle Bay.
